Did Jennifer Lopez obliterate the ‘commitment’ tattoo that once represented her devotion to Ben Affleck? Find out…
She’s sending a message.
Jennifer Lopez seemingly removed the sentimental tattoo she got in Ben Affleck’s honor last year amid the pair’s divorce, stepping out at TIFF in a revealing dress that showed off her bare sides.
In February 2023, the “Argo” actor and the “Jenny From the Block” singer celebrated their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple by getting coordinated “commitment” tattoos.
Lopez got an infinity sign — located on her left ribcage — with “Jennifer” written on one end and “Ben” on the other. The symbol had an arrow striking through the middle.
However, the actress was notably missing the identifiable piece of ink at the premiere of her new film, “Unstoppable,” last week.
The 55-year-old actress arrived at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival in a barely there Tamara Ralph gown, which featured completely open sides tied together with black velvet bows.
The racy mirrorball design gave a clear view of Lopez’s left ribcage; however, her tattoo was nowhere to be seen.
Although it’s unclear if she removed the body art permanently or used makeup to cover it, the “Marry Me” actress clearly doesn’t want it on display amid the pair’s split.
It’s unknown if Affleck also got rid of his own “commitment” tattoo: two overlapping arrows with a “J” and a “B” inscribed between the shafts.
Lopez, meanwhile, paired the metallic gown with towering heels in the same hue, a Judith Leiber clutch and Hassanzadeh diamonds — and opened up about the risqué look.
The “Selena” star told People she “felt good” in the eye-catching ensemble, which she debated wearing for a while before pulling the trigger.
“There was a discussion about whether I should or shouldn’t. And I was like, f—k it,” she said with a laugh. Although Lopez walked the red carpet solo, Affleck’s BFF Matt Damon also attended the international festival.
Damon and Affleck backed the film via their production company, Artists Equity. However, the “Gone Girl” actor skipped the event to spend some time with his kids — and avoid an awkward run-in with his ex.
Despite the actress’s divorce from the “Accountant” actor, she and Damon seem to still be on good terms.
An eyewitness previously told People that the “Mother” star and Damon, 53, “had a long, deep conversation” that lasted over 20 minutes.
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck last month after two years of marriage.
