A professional matchmaker gives Jennifer Lopez warning to stop dating music artists and athletes. And talks about whom she can date.

Jennifer Lopez has no problem falling in love. The multihyphenate has gone through four unsuccessful marriages. While she and Ben Affleck rekindled their flame in 2021 after calling off their engagement in 2004, they couldn’t make their romance work.

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024. No doubt, Lopez will pick up the pieces of her love life and date again, but a professional matchmaker warned that she should stay away from celebrities

Jennifer Lopez loves love, and she and Ben Affleck seemed to have a promising marriage. The couple reunited in 2021 after first falling in love 20 years prior. Unfortunately, their differences were too immense to overcome. They tied the knot in 2022 and are now getting divorced in 2024.

Professional matchmaker Amy Laurent told Fox News Digital that celebrities like Lopez will face “greater challenges in finding love” than the average person.

“Celebrities, in general, are in very unique circumstances, so they are naturally going to face much greater challenges in finding love,” Laurent explained. “For mega-stars with extravagant lifestyles, the difficulty is even greater.”

Laurent added that Lopez needs to date someone “extremely successful and talented in their field but also confident and steady.” Affleck notoriously hated the celebrity spotlight, which likely caused tension in his marriage. Lopez should have someone who provides “a calm strength that complements her and allows her to shine.”

“She’s not one to change, so her ideal match would be someone who can embrace her flamboyant tastes while truly loving and supporting who she is at her core,” the matchmaker continued. “I’m not loving the idea of another musical artist or athletes. Instead, I think she’d be better suited with a powerhouse in the business world.”

Jennifer Lopez has had a string of failed marriages. However, a source told In Touch Weekly that she “doesn’t intend to stay single” after she and Ben Affleck divorce. The insider claimed Lopez might try to rekindle her flame with Alex Rodriguez.

She and the famous baseball player met in 1999 and started dating in 2017. They got engaged in 2019 but broke off the engagement in 2021. Lopez got back together with Affleck the same year as her failed engagement to Rodriguez.

“He’s got a girlfriend now, but J.Lo doesn’t intend to stay single long, and she and A-Rod do have unfinished business,” a source told the publication.

While Jennifer Lopez might be ready to return to the dating world, so is Ben Affleck. Affleck and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s daughter, Kick Kennedy, were spotted together in August 2024.

The actor and the politician’s daughter allegedly had a fling before he got back together with Lopez in 2021. While Affleck’s reps denied that Affleck and Kennedy were pursuing a romance, fans aren’t convinced.

“The word is Ben and Kick have been spending time together and getting to know each other,” a source told In Touch Weekly. “Ben’s telling people it’s none of their business.

He’s not going to explain whom he’s friends with, and the sooner he and J.Lo can wrap up this divorce and move on with each of their lives, the better.”

Lopez is allegedly “livid” about the news. “She’s livid at the thought that he’s been chasing tail at the same time she was fighting tooth and nail to save the marriage, and there’s no way she’s willing to let this go,” the insider continued.
