The American tennis legend was spotted smiling as she donned red lipstick while she posed nude for the cover of ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue” in 2009. Williams stated in a press conference in Beijing as she participated in the China Open, “ESPN had a ‘Body Issue’ and they told me I had a great body and they wanted me to be on the cover, so I was super flattered.”
She went on to talk about the magazine’s cover photo. Williams said, “But I wanted to do it really classy and not trampy. I thought it was a really tasteful picture … I love it.”
