Lightning Strikes Twice: Olympic hero Usain Bolt welcomes twin boys with partner, Kasi Bennett

Their names are Thunder Bolt and Saint Leo Bolt, he wrote on Instagram
On Father’s Day, Usain Bolt and his partner Kasi Bennett shocked the world as they revealed photos of their new twin boys named Thunder Bolt and Saint Leo Bolt on his Instagram.
Casually posting a family photo of his whole family on Father’s Day, nobody expected there to be two new additions to the Bolt family. Making them a family of 5 with daughter Olympia Lightning who born in May 2020.
His partner Kasi Bennett shared additional photos of the newest members of the family on her Instagram. Captioning the post “Happy Father’s Day to my forever love! @usainbolt You are the rock of this family and the greatest daddy to our little ones. We love you world without end!”.
Joining in on the celebration, fans as well as Olympic stars such as 200m world champion Dina Asher-Smith and fellow Jamaican sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce offered Bolt their congratulations. Former French football star Patrice Evra commented “crazy bro congrats”.
Best known as the world’s fastest man after setting the world record for the Men’s 100m with a time of 9.58 seconds in 2009, Usain Bolt’s accomplishments don’t stop there as he also holds the world record for the 200m and has won eight gold medals at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic games.
After retiring from the Olympics in 2017, he briefly attempted to become a professional footballer. Let’s be honest, it was a great idea. Who would be able to catch the world’s fastest man if he had the ball? However, he was unable to seal the deal with a club which encouraged him to retire from all competition in 2019.
Who knows, maybe one day his children will decide to follow in their father’s footsteps and become Olympic athletes of their own. Then lightning will have certainly struck twice.
