She then took his son, Samuel Affleck, to the mall. The insider noted that Lopez has “always cared” about all of their kids and hopes to spend time with them before the school year starts.

“Just because she’s not with Ben doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care about his kids,” the source explained.

“She always cared about them,” they continued. “She spent months looking for the perfect house for their blended family last year. Now, when she’s back in LA, she wants to spend quality time with them before school resumes and Violet is off to college.”
